Christmas is Coming
Christmas gifts can be stressful; why not make them easier and more impactful at the same time? While the staff at Educando Para La Vida have been working overtime (up to seven days a week) to support the children in their community, some children are starting to drop out of the program because their families desperately need them to work, and cannot afford simple costs like bus money to get to the tutoring centre. With the existing resources they have, Educando Para La Vida currently cannot address this problem, nor can it pay its dedicated staff a living wage (current highest wage is $2.40/hr).
