Newsletter #30: EXCITING CRAFT FAIR NEWS!
Newsletter #30 - June 17th, 2026
The Craft Fair will return for its 9th edition this winter - but this time with a bit of a makeover!
Now known as The Good Craft Market, this year's event presented by Justin's No Frills will be held at a brand new location in November: the Floral Hall at VanDusen Botanical Garden! While we are very excited to try out this beautiful new venue, the heart of our event remains the same - supporting local makers and deserving students through intentional holiday shopping.
The vendor application form is now open, and will be so until June 30th!
Click the button below to learn more about the event and how to apply. If you know of anyone who might be interested in vending at the Market, please help us spread the word!
UPDATES FROM GUATEMALA
June marks the 27th Anniversary of our partner organization, Educando Para La Vida! We have been so thankful to join them in their efforts to know the hearts, needs, and joys of their community, and join them in celebrating the journey they've travelled from a humble volunteer after-school tutoring program to a fully-accredited PreK-Grade 9 school.
To celebrate the anniversary and also Guatemala's Family Day, we were able to host all the families of our students in a special event where families got to picnic, play games, enjoy time together, and be recognized for the sacrifices they have made to prioritize the wellbeing of their children.
We don't currently have the resources we need to keep these programs running throughout the year, so if you'd like to join in this work through financial partnership, please reach out to info@edupavi.ca or go to edupavi.ca/donate to learn how you can do so!
While the image below gives you an idea of how far your money goes, the amount is completely up to you! Every partnership is deeply meaningful to us and creates waves of impact beyond what we can imagine. As a crucial part of this story of restoration, monthly donors receive stories and updates from the families and children they are supporting.
As always, thank you for your support, and for reading!
